1st Winning Car
In every issue of Z-Info we will offer you the opportunity to participate in a special contest where you can win one of 100 specially designed Märklin railroad cars.
The G10 type freight car was first built in 1910 and is still the most widely used today (121,770 cars). In 1925 the G10 cars were put into service as refrigerator cars for transporting perishable goods. The railways soon realized the potential for using the white body of the car as an advertising medium, and this, as is well known, was subsequently exploited by beer manufacturers.
